Our current BAD membership is made up of women and men from Kendall, Bexar, Bandera, Medina, Gillespie, Kerr, and Comal counties surrounding Boerne. We'd love to have you join us!
Membership Dues
Membership dues provide our base operating expenses, which allows us to assist with paying the rent for our Democratic Headquarters, maintaining a post office box, hosting our website, and utilizing an email newsletter program. We also provide a $1,500 scholarship to a public high school student each spring and frequently donate to political candidates and causes as well as to charitable organizations such as the Hill Country Family Services and the Center for Refugee Services. Members must approve expenditures over $500 and also vote on other issues, as required by our bylaws.
We conduct business at our monthly membership meetings and encourage all members to attend.
If you become a recurring donor at $10 or more per month, you do not have to pay membership dues as long as the donation continues.
Regular dues are $50.00 per year
Seniors (60+) join for $35.00 per year
Students only $10.00 per year!
